1. What are the hardware requirements for the products.

Any computer from Pentium III upwards. You could use an old Pentium II but it will be extremely slow since the programs are quite large. Our test machines were Pentium III and IV's. All the programs will run on at least 256mb of internal memory. Our recommendation is 512mb of memory. You should have at least 10mb of available disk space before installing any of the programs. The above specifications were quoted for all the programs except the List Manager. If you are processing 1 million addresses then even a Pentium III with 256mb of internal memory would do. For more than a million names we suggest a Pentium IV with at least 1Gb of internal memory. Note that the List Manager is a muscle program and therefore requires a muscle machine !!

2. What other software is required to run the products.

None !! All the software products on this site are self contained to the extreme that each program even has its own word processor that can enhance your documents into the Rich Text Format (RTF). All programs allow you to import Microsoft Word documents as long as the docs were saved into RTF format first prior to importing or loading. To save docs in Microsoft Word, if you have it installed, is quite easy. All you would do is select Save As and from the Save as type box, select the RTF format. All the programs on this site use their own version of 'Access' for the containers and have enough controlled features built in to change the containers at will. All the programs, except the List Manager, contain a Setups manager where you can change your reports and printouts for export to Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs.

3. How do I download the products.

After you have purchased or selected one of the downloads, the File Download box will be displayed with option buttons to either Save or Open the download file. You can open and install directly using the Open button. One drawback is that you will not retain a copy of your download. The other option (recommended) is to save your download by using the Save button. Save it to a place or folder where you would easy be able to find it again. Before saving the file, first take note of the file's name so that you can locate it afterwards. Once you have downloaded the file, go to the place where you had saved it. Double click on the file and commence with your installation by following the instructions. When you download the zip, inside there is 2 files. One is the actually software .exe file and the other is a .txt document which contains the serial number. Just double click the "Cyber Orders.txt" file and copy and paste the serial number when prompted on the install.

4. I had problems downloading. How do I restart my download.

If it is a free download, simply click on the link to restart your download. If you have purchased the product then you can restart your download by logging back in your account from the “Login & Updates” navigation button. Enter your username and password, click on the “my account” link, click on the “view” button beside your order and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link to re-download your software. Downloads are set to expire after 3 months. If you need to re-download your software after this time, please contact us.

5. I have lost my database password.

No Problem. Activate Windows Explorer. Navigate to the folder where you installed your software. Find the following folder for your product: Organizer: 'CBORGNZR'; Orders: 'CBORDERS'; Tender: 'CBTENDER'; List Manager: 'CBLSTMGR'. Please note that if you used the Program Files default folder when you installed the software initially, then the above individual product folders will be contained inside this folder. In each one of these folders is a database folder : some name with '..DB' at the end. For example, for the Organizer, the database folder will be named: ORGNZRDB. Inside this folder find the file, consisting of the name of the container that you have lost the password for, with .sec at the end. For example 'abc.sec'. Each container has it's own .sec file. This file is your electronic security card. Without this file you will not be able to access your database container at all. Take a note of the location of this file. Use the contact page: contact our technical division and arrange how this file will be delivered to us. This file need to be decrypted and your password send to you. Unfortunately there will be a small fee of $15.00 for this service.

6. I need to re-install the software and don't have my installation code.

Use the contact page to contact Sales. After we have verified your order, we will e-mail you with the product's installation code.

7. How do I unsubscribe.

Easy. On the left hand side of each page is a name and e-mail box. On the home page it is on the right hand side. Simply type in your name and e-mail address and press unsubscribe me.

8. How do I copy and paste data into a field.

Place your mouse pointer on the field and right click. A popup box will appear with options to cut, copy, paste and select all. To copy data, first, choose the 'select all' option, then the 'copy' option. These two actions will cause you to place data on to the clipboard. The 'paste' option will now be active allowing you to paste the information in to other fields or documents.

9. The program tells me the field contains a NULL value after I pasted data into the field.

This will only happen in Add mode. This is not a fault and done for reasons to prohibit indiscriminate field loading where the field could possibly be a key field or part of a key index. To lock your pasted data into the field, press the space bar. Spaces at the end of data are not registered and will be removed.

10. How secure is my credit card and personal details.

Credit card information is transmitted to the card processor company (PayPal Pro) using secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Your card information is not stored on our servers. No human being ever sees your credit card number at any time while your order is being processed - it's all handled by computers and securely encrypted.

11. I am sick and tired of spam. Does my e-mail address stay private.

We maintain a strict "No-Spam" policy that means that we do not sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party, without your consent or as permitted by our Privacy Policy.

12. I don't read newsletters anymore. What exactly will you send me and how often.

Newsletters normally contain a lot of adverts and is used as a marketing tool. We do not believe in newsletters since not many people read them. What you would receive from us on a bi-monthly basis, is simply a couple of lines telling you about new products or upgrades, and any new free downloads that our research team has uncovered.

13. I have set my password. Why does it not stay set between my containers.

Passwords are container specific. This goes for all the other products as well. Discussing the Organizer: Since the Organizer can be used by all the members of the family, or organization, each one will set his or her password specific to their own containers. For example, you would not set a password on your photo album, since all the members in your family should be able to access it, unless ofcourse, your album contains private or sensitive photos. The ability to selectively set passwords is singularly the most powerful feature of the Organizer.

14. What is different between free and professional editions.

No difference really. The free version and the professional version are effectively the same program. In the free version certain functions and operations have been disabled and the number of records that can be contained in the sample containers have also been limited.

15. I bought the List Manager. How up to date is the free bonus list.

The bonus list was acquired from a third party vendor to serve as a test body for the List Manager. We therefore cannot vouch for the accuracy of the addresses contained in this list. See our Disclaimer Information. Please feel free to test it. This list could contain good deliverable addresses. Please let us know of the outcome.

16. What type of pictures can I load into the Organizer.

Only Bitmaps or Device-Independent-Bitmap pictures. In other words, pictures or photos with the .bmp or .dib file extension at the end. The reason for bitmaps is that the picture modules support file zooming and all the algorithms were designed for bitmaps to deliver quality zooming capabilities. Jpeg files (with extension .jpg) are compressed or lossy files and cannot deliver this capability. The zooming factor is determined by the number of pixels or bits in the picture, called resolution. The higher the resolution, the higher will the zooming quality be. Most digital cameras deliver a reasonably high resolution jpeg picture that can be easily transformed into bitmap pictures. There are two ways to transform files. The easiest method is to simply load your picture into your Windows's Paint program and to save it as a 24-bit-Bitmap. The second method is to use your digital camera's program to save the picture directly into bitmap format. Please read About Pictures selected from the Index tag of your product's 'Help' menu.

17. Do photos have a maximum size limit in the Organizer. (Resizing Photos)

No, there is no size limit. If you understand 'Question 16' then you know that each pixel is related to a 'bit' of memory. A number of 'bits' make up a 'byte' and a thousand of these make up a kilobyte etc. So the larger the picture the more disk space you would use, as in your photo album, more container space. Since your container's limit is one billion bytes, space with large photos are at a premium. This sounds like a lot but is not really. Try to keep the size of your photos to an optimized level. Please read About Pictures selected from the Index tag of your product's 'Help' menu. There is a cheat way of doing things and that is using your Print Screen button on your keyboard. Using the Organizer, zoom the picture out to a nice size and 'Print Screen' it. Go to Window's Paint program and from the 'Edit' menu select 'Paste' to display it. Use the rectangle, dotted cutout tool to mark the boundaries of the picture and from the 'Edit' menu, select 'Cut'. From the 'File' menu, select 'New' for a blank screen, ignoring the saving picture prompt. From the 'Edit' menu, once more, select 'Paste'. Your new picture is displayed !! Resize the white portion, or canvas, to the boundary of your picture and save as 24-bit-Bitmap, or 'Select All' and 'Copy', using the 'Edit' menu. Reload into your photo album, by 'Pasting' or loading from previously saved file. You can collect pictures from the Internet for your Recipes Book using the same method.

18. My photo album has run out of space. What should I do.

Oops !! You must have one large photo album !! There are two ways to solve this problem. First, try to optimize your largest photos, as described in the About Pictures section, selected from the Index tag of your product's 'Help' menu. Second, categorize your album by creating another under a different name, then copying and pasting those photos that suit the new category name from your full album. Remember to delete the records from your full album as they are copied and pasted into the new album. Read Question 17 about cheat resizing.

19. Can I use this software on every computer in our office.

You must purchase a copy for each user to avoid copyright violations. Just look at it like this, you purchase a car and as long as you are the only person using the car no problem. If someone else would like a car like yours, you can give them yours or they can get their own. One thing we will do is give you a discount on additional copies, Ford will not.

20. I think that I have found a bug. What must I do.

Our software is reasonably bug free. However, if you have discovered a bug it must really be an obscure one, not easily detected. We therefore will need a lot of detail from you. Please take the time to tell us exactly how this problem occurred. Be specific. We need to know in what program section you were in, what sequence of operation or keystrokes you used to make this error happen. Please place yourself in our shoes. We must be able to recreate the problem before we can solve it. Use the contact page to contact our technical division with the bug info.

21. My web browser does not display any headings. Is there a problem.

This site has been built using style sheets (CSS). We know that some older browsers cannot properly display this type of site. Some features on our site uses JavaScript to display. If you have JavaScript disabled in your browser, then some of the features on our website will not work.

22. Is technical support free. Some companies charge for it.

Yes, technical support is absolutely free except for password recovery (Question 5). For this service we charge a small fee of $15.00.

23. I have just added a new column to my container and it seems to have disappeared.

You have probably inserted a date or hyperlink field into your table. These fields do not have a default column width and probably displays a double line. Go back to the 'Reconfigure Column Properties' table and check the GridColWidth field. You will probably find that this value is set to zero. Enter an arbitrary number, say '70', into this field and recheck your display. Adjust as necessary afterwards.

24. How do I rename my database container.

Activate Windows Explorer. Navigate to the folder where you have installed your software. Find the following folder for your product: Organizer: 'CBORGNZR'; Orders: 'CBORDERS'; Tender: 'CBTENDER'; List Manager: 'CBLSTMGR'. Please note that if you had used the Program Files default folder when you installed the software initially, then the above individual product folders will be contained inside this folder. In each one of these folders is a database folder : some name with '..DB' at the end. For example, for the Organizer, the database folder will be named: ORGNZRDB. Inside this folder find the database file ending in .mdb that you wish to rename ie: 'ABC.mdb'. Right click your mouse. A popup box will appear. Select 'Rename' and commence from there. If you have passwords set up, then rename the file with the .sec file extension as well ie: 'ABC.sec'.

25. I have set up my new form but can't get it to display properly.

On your form select the 'Gen Help' button to activate the Quick Help feature. Select the 'Reconfigure Column Properties Dialog Box' option at the bottom of the Help display. Follow the setup procedure from Step 8 onwards. If you are still having problems then select the 'Reconfigure Column Properties' table from the program's menu bar. Print your form's settings using the 'Print Settings' button. Use the contact page to contact our technical division to arrange how this document will be delivered to us. One of our tech staff will use this information to recreate your database container and set it up for you. Once set up, the settings will be e-mailed to you.

26. Will your products work on old computers eg. Windows 95. What about Vista.

All of our software was tested on 5-year-old computers and operating systems right up to Windows XP. Windows 95 did not feature in our benchmark tests. Download one of our Demo programs to see if it will work on your system. The software was designed to work on all hardware platforms. Unfortunately we use 3rd party InstallShield software which we cannot guarantee. If you are having problems installing on your Vista platform make sure that you have 'elevated administrator' privileges set. InstallShield is currently working with Microsoft in resolving any installation problems that you could be experiencing.

27. My program takes a while to load. What should I do to speed things up.

Your database container is causing this. You probably have a number of records in your container by now. You can do one of two things. You can try decreasing the number of records (See Question 18) or you can upgrade your internal memory since loading a large database container is causing a lot of page swapping to disk if the memory is too small.

28. Can the Orders program produce dispatch notes.

The Orders program can only produce customer invoices and statements. From a survey conducted, the consensus was to deliver a product within a certain price range. The feeling was that stationery shops can supply adequate material to complement the successful running of the Orders program without overloading it with a massive report writer that could push the price tag up into hundreds of dollars. However, if you wish all these 'nice to have' systems to be incorporated, our team will gladly develop these extra modules for you.

29. I have purchased a large mailing list that the List Manager has cleaned for me. Can you recommend a reliable mailer program to post my e-mails.

Our research team has suggested the Atomic Mail Sender program. From testing a number of similar programs, the 'Atomic Mail Sender' seems to be the better program to use. Note that our recommendation does not necessary mean that we endorse the usage thereof. Read the Disclaimer.
